         Ridgeport Mastiffs goal is to produce and provide you the buyer with a top quality pup for you and your family to enjoy for many years to come. Both our males and females come with the best of pedigrees. All our pups are sold with registration papers and a three generation pedigree certificate. Please never consider buying a pup from a breeder that doesn't provide these papers.

Ridgeport Mastiffs is located about 1.5 hours south of Winnipeg, MB. I've never encountered any problems shipping a pup from the Winnipeg airport to the required destination. Mastiff pups adjust very quickly and in no time at all will be part of your family.

Ridgeport Mastiffs is by no means classified as a large breeding operation, usually producing at least one quality litter per year. Contact me for upcoming litters or planned future breedings and I will provide you with all the information on how soon I would be able to provide you with a pup of your choice. You may be looking for a boy, or girl, and of course you will be choosing the colour. Our pups will be found with black masks, and will come in brindle and fawn colors. There is also a possibility of an apricot brindle, or an apricot fawn. When my females are ready to give birth all attempts are made to give birth naturally, at times taking up to 36 hours for her pups to be born. It's my opinion that the more natural I keep the whole thing the mothers and pups will be happier and healthier in the long run. We only breed Mastiffs here at Ridgeport, we have no multiple breeds.

Remembering when we got our first Mastiff over 15 years ago, you know once you've owned a Mastiff you will never want to own a different breed. People that have one of our pups will say the same thing.

Four years ago I was fortunate enough to obtain a beautiful male from Rockport Mastiffs (pictured on the right with one of his pups from a previous litter). Rockport Milo is the son of Pallones Northern Lights (Spike), who is the grandson of the famous stud dog Greiner Hall Jedadiah. Milo not only has produced beautiful pups, he's also active as a therapy dog. More pictures can be seen on this site in the photo gallery. Another very nice male I obtained from Steve Boyd at Mythic Mastiff on Vancouver Island is Mythic Marley. Marley is the son of Greiner Hall Neo and Briercreeks Perpperment Patti.

Here at Ridgeport Mastiffs we strongly advise you to do your research prior to getting a Mastiff pup. Good breeders with a reputation will usually have a waiting list.
